    • How does chat work?

      Chat works only with "one on one members".  You cannot chat with multiple members at the same time.


      If you want chat with another member clic on the chat box of their profile.  If they are online you will be able to begin chatting. Also when you receive a request to chat you have the ability to refuse, if you wish. 

    • What security measures have been put in place to protect children?

      Only adult should access on our service. You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to use our services, for your own protection.  Only parents or guardians of children should be doing research to find individuals to serve as grandparents.

    • How may I change my picture or make changes to my profile?

      Log into your account.  Go to your profile where you may have access to your profile, and add or delete photos.  Before a profile is approved, each and everyone is reviewed to see whether appropriate or not.  

    • If I don't see the answer to my question, what can I do?

      If you don't see an answer to your question please do not hesitate to send us your question and we will respond to you as soon as possible.  

    • Is this website free?

      Yes, for the time being, it is 100% free for both families and grandparents with free access to the forum and groups...

    • Are profiles on this website censored? Yes, any content discovered or reported not prudent for families will not be allowed.

      Yes. All member profiles, when they are originally created as well as when they are modified, must be approved by our webmasters. We reserve the right to refuse any profile or photograph that we feel is inappropriate for this site. Also, we ask that you do not put any personal information in your profile, including, but not limited to: your home address, a personal beeper, cell or telephone number, a real e-mail address or personal web address. Any offenders of this rule will be banned from the site.



    • How do I change my personal information?

      Changing profile information is extremely easy. If you would like to update information about yourself that you submitted during registration, write a new heading and description for your profile go to the update your profile option on My Settings page. There you can edit any part of your personal information and save it by clicking the Submit button.

    • How do I send an e-mail to members?

      You can send e-mail to users by clicking the Send a message button or Send a card button on that persons profile or listing. Simply type in your message or selected card you wish to send and click the Send button.

    • What is the Block List feature?

      While viewing members profiles or reading or replying messages in your Mailbox you will have an option to add members to Block List. After you have added someone to your Block List you will not receive any notifications, cards or e-mails from this particular member.  If you wish to receive emails etc from this member you will need to remove him or her from the Block List. This feature helps you limit your contacts with people you don't wish to hear from.


       

    • Are members on this site screened?

      No - only a valid e-mail address is required to become a member - you will not be able to activate your account without one. All our services are confidential and your privacy is as much of a priority for us as it is for our members. However, we do not do any background checks on our members.  You should take steps to protect yourself and your family by doing background checks, etc.  Also, please use common sense and be careful about giving out personal information to people you meet.
